We Finally Know How Much Martin Shkreli Charged for That Wu-Tang Clan Album
It’s official – the mystery surrounding the price at which Martin “pharma bro” Shkreli charged for Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, the infamous Wu-Tang Clan album, has been finally solved. Bloomberg reports that the album was sold by the U.S. government to WTC Endeavours Limited in 2020, a company established specifically for this purpose.
According to documents obtained through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, WTC Endeavors purchased the album from the government for an astonishing $2,238,482.30 – a staggering amount that reflects the dubious morality and questionable business practices displayed by Shkreli throughout his career.
The sale, which was finalized in 2020, has been shrouded in secrecy since its inception, with little information available about WTC Endeavours Limited’s officers or their connections to the pharmaceutical industry.
