Sinego Honors Joan Sebastian’s Legacy With Afro House-Infused EP
In our latest installment of Billboard Latin Remix of the Week, we shine a spotlight on Colombian-Mexican DJ/producer and multi-instrumentalist Sinego, who has taken it upon himself to celebrate the enduring legacy of the late Mexican music icon Joan Sebastian. To mark the 10th anniversary of his passing, Sinego has released an Afro House-infused EP, featuring three tracks that reimagine some of the legendary artist’s most beloved hits.
This bold move is part of a collaboration between Craft Latino and Discos Musart, aimed at recontextualizing Joan Sebastian’s music for a new generation. With this release, Sinego aims to bring artistry and emotion back into Afro House and house music.
