
Arthur Hayes Sells $13 Million in Crypto Holdings Predicting Bitcoin Drop to $100K
In a recent move, BitMEX co-founder and crypto veteran Arthur Hayes has sold over $13 million worth of cryptocurrency holdings. This significant sale includes positions in Ethereum (ETH), ENA, and PEPE tokens. The decision comes as Hayes warns that Bitcoin could potentially drop to $100,000 due to macroeconomic pressures.
According to data from Arkham Intelligence, Hayes’ wallet offloaded 2,373 ETH valued at approximately $8.32 million, along with 7,76 million ENA tokens worth $4.62 million. The transaction also included the sale of 38.86 billion PEPE tokens for a staggering $414,700.
Following these transactions, Hayes now holds $28.3 million in crypto assets, with the majority of his funds being parked in USDC stablecoin as he awaits clearer market direction.
