TRON Founder Justin Sun Returns from Successful Blue Origin Space Flight
Justin Sun has become the youngest Chinese-born person to fly on a commercial spacecraft after successfully completing a suborbital flight with Blue Origin. On August 3, 2025, Sun boarded the New Shepard rocket at Blue Origin’s West Texas facility, along with five other crew members.
The unprecedented journey took merely ten minutes, during which time Sun crossed the Kármán line, officially entering outer space. The capsule provided a brief four-minute period of weightlessness before returning to Earth by parachute descent.
This historic moment marks Sun’s successful completion of his seat auction win, secured for €26 million ($28 million) back in 2021. The auction proceeds went towards Blue Origin’s Club for the Future foundation.
In an interview after landing safely on the desert floor, Sun conveyed a sense of awe and responsibility, emphasizing the importance of protecting our planet. “Earth is so small, and it’s our home,” he noted. “We definitely need to do whatever we can to protect it.”
