Infiniti Concept Vehicles Hint At Powerful New Direction
In a bold move to reinvigorate its brand and drive sales growth, Infiniti has taken the wraps off three concept vehicles that hint at a powerful new direction for the luxury automaker. The unveiling is set to take place during Pebble Beach Automotive Week near Monterey, California on August 15.
As part of this transformation, Infiniti will be reviewing its current offerings and focusing on more efficient dealer programs. According to Vice President of Infiniti Americas Tiago Castro, the brand will reduce some dealer programs and reallocate funds towards advertising efforts to drive demand and increase revenue. This strategic shift aims to improve profitability and boost sales.
To further augment these initiatives, Infiniti is simplifying its Performance Plus program by reducing key performance indicators from 15 to just five. This streamlined approach is designed to make it easier for retailers to track their progress and adjust accordingly.
Furthermore, the company has launched a new campaign dubbed “Switch Up,” which seeks to rekindle consumer interest through innovative digital marketing strategies. Early results of this initiative have been encouraging, with the highest ever traffic on the Infiniti website in July, according to Castro.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that sales of the QX 80 model in the first half of the year have seen a significant boost. This renewed optimism is fueled by the three concept vehicles being revealed next week and internal changes aimed at bolstering brand identity.
“We’re not just about being efficient; we need to find our unique niche in the market,” Castro emphasized, hinting at the powerful new direction Infiniti is set to take under his leadership.
