Major XRP Adoption News From South Korea
In a significant development, BDACS (Blockchain Data Asset Core Solution), a licensed crypto custodian catering to South Korea’s institutional market, has announced its support for XRP. The latest launch marks the first tangible outcome of their collaboration, which was initially unveiled in February 2024.
According to sources, the partnership will allow institutions to access and manage XRP securely and compliantly through Ripple’s Ripple Custody platform. The move is a significant step forward in the adoption of digital assets by South Korean institutions.
BDACS’ integration with Korea’s leading crypto exchanges, Upbit, Coinone, and Korbit, also provides seamless access to the crypto asset across the country’s most liquid venues. This development follows the Financial Services Commission’s regulatory roadmap for digital assets, aimed at accelerating institutional adoption in the region.
Notably, BDACS’ CEO, Harry Ryoo, emphasized that their mission extends beyond providing custody services to supporting Ripple’s pioneering blockchain initiatives and enabling the expansion of the digital asset ecosystem.
It is worth mentioning that, XRP has gained significant attention globally following the recent surge over $3.6 and hitting a new all-time high after a 500% rally since the US elections.
