WB Reveals James Gunn’s Next DCU Directing Project After ‘Superman’
Warner Bros. has just dropped a bombshell in the world of DC Universe (DCU) enthusiasts, as they have announced that James Gunn will be directing another project within the DCU. This comes after the massive success of “Superman,” which has grossed over half a billion dollars at the box office.
It’s no secret that James Gunn has been instrumental in the film’s success, and it appears that his work on the movie has impressed Warner Bros. enough to offer him another project within the DCU. While Gunn had previously hinted that he may be working on “The Authority,” it seems this is now not the case, as he will instead be taking the reins of a new project.
David Zaslav, head of Warner Bros., confirmed the news during an earnings call, revealing that James Gunn will be writing and directing the next film in the Super-Family.
