Liam Gallagher has announced a sudden change in his behavior during Oasis concerts, revealing that he’s been banned from throwing his tambourine and maracas into the crowd.
During a show at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium earlier this week, Liam broke the news to fans, stating, “I can’t throw my tambourine out tonight or my maracas. I’ve been told not to.” The singer explained that it’s not about being tight-fisted or anything of the kind, but rather because he’s been advised that fans don’t know how to behave themselves.
Liam went on to elaborate on the reason behind this sudden change in his actions, stating, “I’ve just been told ‘Don’t do any of that s-t anymore’ and it seems like I’m not being told to throw those instruments into the audience. It appears there have been some concerning incidents at Oasis concerts recently.
In the past week alone, a fan was injured after attempting to catch Liam’s maracas during a show in London. A few days before this incident, a tragic event took place where a 35-year-old man died after falling from the upper tier of Wembley Stadium while attending an Oasis concert.
These incidents have seemingly prompted the authorities to act swiftly and put an end to Liam’s habit of throwing his instruments into the crowd.
