Nicole Kidman has come a long way from her humble beginnings in Australia. But before she became one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood, she was close to choosing a very different path – a life on a Nashville farm.
In a recent interview with Elle, the 54-year-old actress opened up about how she almost gave up on her acting career and instead chose a quieter life as a farmer’s wife.
“I have had moments where I thought, ‘I’m going to leave it all behind, I’m going to go be a farmer in Nashville,'” Kidman revealed. “It feels like a lie, but it does feel like that sometimes.”
However, her passion for acting won out in the end, and she has since gone on to become one of the most respected and admired actresses in the industry.
Kidman shares four children with her husband Keith Urban – Bella and Connor from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise, as well as Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret with Urban.
