
Frito-Lay recalls Lay’s Classic Potato Chips over undisclosed ingredient
Frito-Lay has issued a recall of its Lay’s Classic Potato Chips due to the potential presence of an undeclared milk ingredient. The affected product was distributed in certain retail stores and e-commerce platforms in Oregon and Washington, with sales beginning on November 3rd, 2024.
Consumers who are severely allergic or sensitive to milk may be at risk of a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume the recalled product. Fortunately, no reported allergic reactions have been linked to this recall so far.
It’s worth noting that only the specific 13 oz. bags with the following characteristics are affected by this recall:

* “Guaranteed Fresh” date: 11 Feb 2025
* Manufacturing codes: 6462307xx or 6463307xx
In light of this recall, the FDA advises consumers who have purchased these bags to dispose of them or return them to their retailer for a full refund.
