Bitcoin Buyer MicroStrategy to Change Fundraising Strategy
MicroStrategy, a leading business intelligence software company and one of the largest holders of Bitcoin, plans to shift its fundraising strategy in response to changing market conditions.
In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, emphasized that his company is becoming more deleveraged and aims to get more leverage. He also highlighted that they are considering fixed-income markets over equity ones as the global economy continues to deteriorate.
“We’re always considering which asset class we want to go to,” said Saylor during an interview with Bloomberg. “Is it the convertible market? Is it the fixed-income market, or is it the equity market we want to go to? And that’s going to change from time to time.”
Saylor expressed a desire for MicroStrategy to become more deleveraged but emphasized that he wants the company to get more leverage in the future.
