ETFs have now surpassed Satoshi Nakamoto in total holdings.
In a shocking turn of events, it has been revealed that ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) have managed to surpass the legendary Satoshi Nakamoto’s total holdings. This news comes hot on the heels of Ethereum ETFs recently going live in July, which had an underwhelming debut but then suddenly gained traction, logging two consecutive weeks of positive flows.
As a result, some ETF issuers have rushed to file for other altcoin-based ETFs, including Solana-based ones. However, it appears that their efforts have been thwarted by the SEC’s recent indication that they will not be approving these ETFs in the near future.
It is worth noting that Satoshi Nakamoto, whose true identity remains a mystery, created the first decentralized cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, back in 2009.
