Apple Warns Users Of iPhone Spyware Attacks—What You Need To Know
In a shocking revelation, tech giant Apple has been sending out notifications to users about suspected spyware hacking attacks on their iPhones. But what’s even more astonishing is that when you receive such a warning, you won’t be getting any help from the company itself, but rather being redirected to a non-profit organization.
According to TechCrunch, an example of one such notification reads: “Apple detected that you are being targeted by a mercenary spyware attack that is trying to remotely compromise the iPhone associated with your Apple Account. This attack is likely targeting you specifically because of who you are or what you do.”
The notification adds that “it’s never possible to achieve absolute certainty when detecting such attacks, but Apple has high confidence in this warning – please take it seriously.”
