Title: BORIS JOHNSON: Hapless Starmer and Reeves are doing for Britain’s economy what Harold Shipman did for gerontology. But at least young voters are learning about the Doom Loop of Socialism
In a scathing attack, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has likened the economic policies of Labour leaders Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves to those of infamous serial killer Harold Shipman, who murdered numerous elderly patients under the guise of medical treatment.
“It’s astonishing that Starmer and Reeves are doing for Britain’s economy what Harold Shipman did for gerontology,” Johnson said in a statement. “They’re killing off prosperity with their misguided policies.”
The Prime Minister’s remarks come as he continues to criticize Labour’s economic plans, which he claims would lead the country down a path of financial ruin.
However, it appears that at least some young voters are taking note of the warnings and are beginning to learn about the so-called “Doom Loop” of Socialism. The term refers to the vicious cycle of higher taxes leading to less investment, resulting in lower growth and ultimately, even more debt.
“It’s time for young people to wake up to the reality that Labour’s economic policies would be catastrophic,” Johnson emphasized.
