Cardano (ADA) Ambitious Five-Year Roadmap Lays Out Timeline for Plomin Hard Fork
An ambitious five-year roadmap has been proposed by Tomiwabold Olajide, an experienced cryptocurrency analyst. According to the roadmap, there are estimated mainnet epoch boundary dates when the Plomin hard fork could occur if the governance action is approved by the SPO and ICC.
The proposed dates for the hard fork are January 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, and 29. It’s worth noting that the shortest possible period between submitting a governance action and its implementation is approximately two epochs, which is quite rare.
To ensure the earliest possible enactment date of January 4, 2025, the epoch 529 plan provides the greatest opportunity for SPOs and ICC to vote to ratify the hard fork. Consequently, ratification and enactment could occur following any epoch boundary between January 4 and 29, 2025.
This roadmap presents a significant development in the Cardano (ADA) community as it outlines a detailed timeline for the Plomin hard fork.
