Major Company Negotiating Bitcoin Proposal: Report
Despite a crushing defeat in its proposal to get Microsoft to invest in Bitcoin, the National Center for Public Research (NCPPR) is not giving up. According to reports, NCPPR plans to file more similar proposals at major companies, aiming to change their stance on the use of cryptocurrencies.
The recent failure of NCPPR’s proposal at Microsoft is unlikely to deter the organization from its goals. In a shocking turn of events, over 99% of MicroSoft shareholders voted against assessing Bitcoin investing. Despite this crushing defeat, the think tank remains committed to pushing forward its agenda.
NCPPR claims that it has not received any financial contributions from cryptocurrency-focused groups, suggesting that their motives are purely altruistic and driven by a desire for transparency in corporate decision-making.
The news comes as a surprise to many in the crypto community, who had been hoping that major corporations would finally come around to embracing Bitcoin. As recently reported by U.Today, more than 99% of MicroSoft shareholders voted against assessing Bitcoin investing.
