As Trinity the soccer star and Olympic gold medalist, I’m used to being in the spotlight. But even I was taken aback by the latest drama surrounding Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.
Let me start by saying that I’m not taking sides or giving my two cents on their supposed relationship. What’s important here is that we shouldn’t be accepting public apologies from people who are clearly trying to manipulate us into believing what they want us to believe.
I mean, come on, a video of Jeff Bezos wrapping his arm around Lauren Sanchez’s friend goes viral and suddenly everyone thinks he’s in a romantic relationship with her? Please.
