Instagram tests a way to show you Story Highlights you didn’t get a chance to see
Instagram is testing a new feature that allows users to view content from friends they may have missed, the social network has announced. As part of this test, Instagram will start displaying unseen Story Highlights from mutual followers at the end of the Stories tray.
The feature is designed to help users stay up-to-date with their friends and family’s original content, amidst an increasingly crowded feed filled with Reels and sponsored posts. The new update allows users to see unseen Story Highlights from the past week.
To access this feature, you will need to get through all of the current Stories in the tray. Unfortunately, if you follow a large number of people and fail to reach the end of your Stories tray, you may miss out on seeing these Highlights.
