Singer-songwriter Mike Posner has been through a lot in his life, including a near-death experience after surviving a plane crash. However, he has come out stronger and more positive on the other side.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Posner discussed how his faith has helped him find meaning and joy despite the ups and downs in his life. He shared that he’s been blessed to have deeper life experiences that have changed his perspective as a musician.
“I think when you go and have deeper life experiences like I’ve been blessed to have, it changes the perspective from which you write, or you create art from within,” Posner said.
The Grammy-nominated artist also emphasized the importance of family during the holiday season. He acknowledged that this time of year can be emotional as it highlights those who are not present.
“My father, he passed away seven years ago; so when [my family] gets together, his absence is very much felt,” Posner said.
