Disney Confirms That ‘Toxic Dudebros’ Didn’t Kill ‘The Acolyte’ After All
In a surprising turn of events, Disney has confirmed that the cancellation of its latest Star Wars series, “The Acolyte,” was not due to backlash from “toxic dudebros” or any other fan faction. According to recent statements, the decision was made based on creative reasons and a desire to shift focus towards more appealing projects.
In an earlier post, I touched upon the idea that Disney’s attempt to create a new, modern audience for Star Wars had failed miserably, resulting in the lackluster reception of “The Acolyte.” It seems that my theory has been confirmed by the powers that be.
