Title: NYT ‘Connections’ Hints And Answers For Saturday, December 28
As the week comes to a close, it’s time to wrap up another episode of Connections. I must admit, today’s game was quite straightforward, and that makes me both relieved and concerned for my readers. Was this game too easy? Did you find it as simple as I did? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
To begin with, the blue group consisted of possessive pronouns – HERSHEY, HISTAMINE, ITS, MINEFIELD, and so on. It’s worth noting that AEGIS, despite not being an immediately recognizable term, proved to be a crucial piece in the puzzle.
The yellows were much more straightforward, with ITCH, ITALICS, IOTA, and INK. Now onto the greens! We’ve got GOLDEN FLEECE, PANDORA’S BOX, and APPLE OF DISCORD. As you might expect from this show, there’s a lot going on beneath the surface.
But what about the purples? You guessed it – they were all idioms or expressions that involve ‘kicking something.’ TIRES, HABIT, CAN, and HORNET’S NEST are all examples of this phenomenon.
