The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has just announced a highly anticipated lightweight bout for the upcoming UFC Vegas 103 event on March 1. The match-up pits Esteban Ribovics against Nasrat Haqparast in an incredibly thrilling fight that fans will undoubtedly be excited about.
Ribovics, who is just 28 years old, boasts a phenomenal record of 14-1. His sole loss came in his first bout as part of the UFC’s main roster, where he was defeated by unanimous decision against Loik Radzhabov back in March 2023. However, Ribovics has since responded with an impressive three-fight win streak that includes a stunning head-kick knockout over Terrance McKinney in May.
Haqparast, on the other hand, has been nothing short of incredible himself. The winner of this fight is all but guaranteed to secure a ranked opponent for their next outing. Haqparast has won four fights in a row and will undoubtedly be looking to continue his winning ways against Ribovics.
The rest of the card includes an array of exciting bouts, including Brandon Royval vs. Manel Kape in the main event, Montana De La Rosa taking on Luana Carolina, Lucas Almeida facing off against Danny Silva, William Gomis battling Hyder Amil, Danny Barlow versus Sam Patterson, Cody Brundage going up against Julian Marquez.
Before UFC Vegas 103 takes place, the promotion will have already hosted six events. The first of these happens on January 11 at the Apex, with Mackenzie Dern set to rematch Amanda Ribas in the main event.
