“I wanna take you for a ride.” And what a ride this classic fighting game collection is! It encapsulates the various Marvel and Capcom crossover 2D fighters and even includes The Punisher beat-’em-up that kick-started the long-running collaboration.
4. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was an early gem in January, but sadly, Ubisoft disbanded its development team by October. Still, this amazing side-scrolling Metroidvania/Soulslike mashup with challenging combat and platforming is worth the price.
5. Pepper Grinder
Pepper Grinder is a unique 2D platformer that has you traverse its colorful sprite-filled world with a drill, dolphin-diving into and up from the ground. The game’s key mechanic feels frenetic and extremely rewarding when expertly traversed.
6. Lorelei and the Laser Eyes
Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is for anyone who enjoys escape rooms. Its slick black, white, and red art style and eerie setting fill the game with a sense of mystery, and its challenging puzzles are sure to tickle your brain.
