More of the DJI Flip folding drone appears in new leaked images
New images have surfaced online, providing a closer look at DJI’s upcoming Flip folding drone. The latest leaks come courtesy of Igor Bogdanov, who has shared several images and details about the compact device.
In the photos, the Flip is shown in both folded and unfolded states, as well as within its carrying case. While some of the images have been partially censored, they offer a more detailed look at the drone’s design than previous leaks.
Bogdanov also claims that DJI is preparing a new Cellular Dongle 2 module for the Flip, which could potentially enhance the device’s capabilities. It’s unclear at this time what specific features the module would add or improve.
The leaked images have also sparked speculation about the Flip’s potential use cases and capabilities. Some are suggesting that the drone may be capable of first-person streaming during flight, citing its registration numbers and categorization as a DJI FPV drone.
While these claims have not been officially confirmed by DJI, it’s clear that the Flip is shaping up to be an intriguing addition to the company’s product lineup. Early indications suggest that the device could offer significantly longer flight times than some of DJI’s other offerings, with some reports suggesting a battery life of around 30 minutes.
The inclusion of ND filters for the drone has also been confirmed, along with a charging hub that can supposedly charge two batteries in under an hour using a 65W parallel charger.
