This MagSafe iPhone wallet doubles as a stand and offers Find My functionality
For a number of years now, Moft has been pushing the boundaries of innovative gadget accessories. While some of their offerings may not be entirely useful, they have consistently managed to surprise us with interesting ideas. Their latest creation is no exception – a combination Find My wallet and stand that successfully ticks both boxes.
The new product is an update to the Snap-On Phone Stand & Wallet announced several years ago, which utilized Moft’s signature origami design and attached via MagSafe. The headline new feature is, understandably, the addition of Apple-certified Find My integration, providing “pro-active” notifications when the wallet is misplaced or moved from an area designated by the user.
The wallet operates in two modes: a wallet mode where it provides 1.1 millimeters of thickness, and includes an 80mAh battery onboard for the Find My functionality. The new Snap-On Phone Stand & Wallet is set to begin shipping in June and will be available at a price point of $50. This puts it roughly on par with other iPhone wallets currently on the market.
What’s more impressive, however, is that Moft has managed to deliver this innovative product without breaking the bank – or rather, not much higher than the competition’s offerings.
