Julian Lennon Admits He’s Not ‘Part of the Beatles Inner Circle’
In a candid interview, Julian Lennon, son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, revealed that he doesn’t identify as being part of the Beatles’ inner circle. Despite his famous parentage, Julian has always maintained a unique stance regarding his connection to the iconic band.
“I don’t consider myself part of the Beatles inner circle,” Julian stated bluntly. “I mean, I’m John’s son, and I’ve got immense respect for what they did, but my path is completely different.”
The statement comes as a surprise considering Julian has often spoken about his experiences growing up surrounded by the Beatles’ legacy. While he’s made peace with his family ties to the band, he acknowledges that he never really fit into their inner circle.
“I’ve always been aware of how intense and exclusive those relationships were,” Julian explained. “Paul, George, Ringo – they were all best friends, and I was just a little kid hanging around the edges.”
Julian’s comments have sparked some debate within the Beatles fan community, with many fans expressing both support for his honesty and disappointment that he doesn’t claim to be part of their inner circle.
Despite this, Julian remains focused on his own creative pursuits.
