Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 on January 22
In what is otherwise an uneventful CES 2025 press conference, Samsung has announced January 22 as the date for its next Unpacked event. This timing aligns with earlier reporting and will undoubtedly serve as a launching pad for the company’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S25.
It appears that the event, which will be livestreamed through Samsung’s site, is shaping up to be an essential occasion for fans of Android devices. In recent years, Samsung has shifted its focus to a six-month flagship release cycle, starting with the Galaxy S series in January and then moving on to the latest versions of its Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold foldables halfway through the year.
As expected, much of the event will likely be dedicated to discussing the company’s plan for “Galaxy AI,” a proprietary attempt to integrate generative AI into its handsets.
