Storm Éowyn has been officially named by the Met Office as a severe weather system that’s expected to bring strong winds, heavy rain, and even snow to parts of the UK.
According to maps released today, the storm will hit Britain in two phases. The first phase is set to begin tomorrow evening with 80mph gales battering coastal areas, while inland regions can expect torrential downpours.
The second phase of the storm will arrive on Wednesday morning, bringing snow and blizzard-like conditions to higher elevations.
