Title: New Ethereum ETF Staking Proposal Filed by NYSE
BlackRock’s Robert Mitchnick recently stated at the Digital Asset Summit that Ethereum ETFs have underperformed due to the absence of staking. He referred to it as the “next step” in the evolution of such products. However, enabling ETF staking is a complex process that involves various challenges.
Despite this, Bitwise has already launched a Solana exchange-traded product (ETP) with staking in Germany, which may have paved the way for similar initiatives in other jurisdictions.
Recently, NYSE filed a new proposal to introduce Ethereum ETF staking.
