Devolo Reveals Its First 5G Wi-Fi 6 Router for High-Speed Internet
In a bid to provide users with a reliable and high-speed internet connection, Devolo has announced the release of its first-ever 5G Wi-Fi 6 router. The new device, dubbed Wi-Fi 6 Router 3600 5G LTE, offers an array of innovative features that make it an ideal solution for those who require seamless connectivity.
The router is designed to connect up to 100 devices wirelessly to the internet, providing fast and stable connections to client devices. This feature is particularly noteworthy as it can be a viable alternative to fixed-line internet services, especially in areas where such services are not available or reliable.
One of the key highlights of this device is its ability to function as a backup solution for fixed-line broadband failures. Users can connect the router to a fiber broadband service and have it automatically kick in if the primary connection goes down. This feature ensures continuous connectivity, which is essential for businesses that require an always-on internet connection.
The Wi-Fi 6 Router 3600 5G LTE also supports dual-band technology on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, ensuring a fast and reliable internet connection for users. Additionally, it features 4×4 MIMO data transfer rates of up to 1,200 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 2,400 Mbps on the 5GHz band.
The device is easy to set up, requiring only a power outlet and a nano SIM from a mobile network provider. Configuration can be done using Devolo’s user-friendly Home Network app or via a web-based interface for more advanced settings.
For existing Devolo users, it’s worth noting that this router can seamlessly integrate with other devices in the ecosystem, allowing users to control everything from a single interface available on both Android and iOS devices.
The new Devolo Wi-Fi 6 Router 3600 5G LTE will be available for purchase in the UK and EU starting May 2025 at a recommended retail price of £399 / €499.90.
