XRP Will Flip Ethereum by End of Year, Predicts Crypto Law Expert
In a recent statement, a renowned crypto law expert has boldly predicted that XRP will flip Ethereum by the end of the year. This prediction is based on an analysis of the fundamental value (FDV) of both cryptocurrencies.
The FDV, which measures the total value of all assets and liabilities within a blockchain’s ecosystem, shows a stark contrast between the two platforms. While Ethereum’s market cap stands at around $177.7 billion, its FDV is significantly lower at $178.95 billion. On the other hand, XRP’s FDV has surged to $184.15 billion, surpassing even Ethereum’s market cap.
This disparity in FDV highlights a crucial distinction between the two platforms. While Ethereum focuses on smart contract adoption and institutional trust, XRP is aggressively pursuing payments, compliance, and accessibility through its XXRP product. This strategic shift seems to be paying off, as XRP’s FDV has surged above that of Ethereum’s.
Ethereum’s upper hand in developer activity, smart contract adoption, and institutional trust still holds true. However, XRP is no longer just a copycat trying to follow in Ethereum’s footsteps. Instead, it’s carving out its own niche by targeting the growing demand for fast, secure, and accessible payment solutions.
Ripple, the company behind XRP, has consistently stated that their goal is not to replace Ethereum but rather provide an alternative solution for specific use cases. And based on this data, it seems like they’re on track to achieve just that.
