Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, has warned about the potential consequences of Donald Trump’s trade policies, stating that a recession is a “likely outcome” if the administration does not address its tariff agenda.
In an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News, Dimon expressed concerns over the uncertainty caused by Trump’s tariffs and the potential economic fallout. He emphasized that he hopes there won’t be a recession, but it could be a possibility if the situation remains unresolved.
“I do think fixing these tariff issues and traders should be a good thing to do,” Dimon said. “That will get one major uncertainty behind us.”
