Jimmi Simpson Worried Black Mirror’s Return to USS Callister Wouldn’t Be ‘Essential’
In a recent interview with Engadget, actor Jimmi Simpson revealed his initial reservations about revisiting the USS Callister storyline in Black Mirror’s seventh season. The Emmy-winning Netflix series dropped its entire six-episode season on April 10.
Simpson, known for his roles in Westworld and Dark Matter, among others, expressed his concerns about the potential sequel episode not being “essential.” This apprehension stemmed from his initial skepticism that a follow-up to the popular USS Callister storyline could live up to the original’s standards.
