Former Cowboys Star Rips Team’s ‘Stupid Decisions,’ Doesn’t Expect Success Any Time Soon
Dez Bryant, a former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, has expressed his concerns about the current state of the organization. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Bryant criticized the team’s decision-making process, stating that he doesn’t expect them to be successful in the near future.
“I don’t see us getting better,” Bryant said. “You need good role players, you need more star players, especially in today’s NFL. Teams are loaded. You can’t have just one receiver. You got teams with three ones, two ones. The Cowboys only got one one.”
Bryant, who played for the Cowboys from 2010 to 2017, believes that the team’s recent decisions have been “stupid.” He points out that they should have made moves to improve their roster before the season, but instead, the team failed to do so.
“I’ve been in that organization, so I’m looking at it from a different lens. They weren’t pulling the plug or making moves to try to make the team better,” Bryant said. “That’s when I knew things was going down for us.”
Bryant is also concerned about the team’s long-term prospects, saying he doesn’t expect them to be successful in the near future.
“I don’t expect the ‘Boys to be good for the next couple of years,” he added.
