Tom Homan Believes ICE Raid Leaks Are ‘Coming From Inside’ Amidst Investigation into Aurora Leak
In the wake of recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids being leaked, Acting Director Tom Homan has expressed his concerns that the leaks are not coming from external sources, but rather from within the agency itself.
“I talked to the deputy attorney general all this weekend,” Homan stated in an interview. “They’ve opened up a criminal investigation, and they have promised that not only will this person lose their job and lose their pension, they will go to jail.”
Homan’s comments come as the Trump administration has faced criticism for its aggressive immigration policies, including increased deportation efforts. ICE has been working closely with federal agencies to expand partnerships and increase deportations.
The administration has also taken steps to ramp up detention facilities and transportation of detainees. Fox News Digital confirmed that Guantánamo Bay is being used to house some immigrants, with plans to accommodate up to 30,000 individuals.
Despite the setbacks, Homan remains committed to ICE’s mission. “I’m going to double the manpower in those sanctuary cities,” he emphasized. “If we can’t get them in their homes, we’ll get them at their place of employment.”
Homan also expressed his determination to crack down on ‘sanctuary cities,’ stating that they are a “sanctuary for criminals.”
