I’m afraid I have some bad news for Romesh Ranganathan. While he’s usually funny about serious topics, it seems like the comedy has stopped and reality has hit him hard.
In a recent outburst, the comedian took to social media to express his outrage at the local council over the state of their school system. Specifically, he’s upset that his son was offered a place at a school “on the other side of town”, implying that it’s not in their preferred area.
Romesh is having none of it, and I don’t blame him. Who wouldn’t be upset if they were forced to send their child to school miles away from home? It’s unacceptable that the council would even suggest such a thing, especially considering the potential impact on the child’s education and social life.
I’m not sure what Romesh will do next, but I hope he continues to speak out against this injustice.
