Sony’s Soneium and Plume Unite to Bring Real-World Yield to Millions through SkyLink

In a groundbreaking move, Sony’s public blockchain, Soneium, has partnered with Plume, a full-stack layer 1 chain built for scaling Real World Asset Finance (RWAfi), to deliver real-world asset staking and yield opportunities to its user base of 5.1 million users.

The partnership will see Soneium integrate SkyLink, Plume’s native interoperability layer, enabling secure cross-chain value flow for tokenized assets like US Treasuries and private credit directly from the Plume chain. This integration aims to bring institutional-grade yield products within reach of everyday users, thereby driving mainstream adoption of RWA-based finance in the crypto space.

The integration of Plume’s SkyLink interoperability layer will allow Soneium users to tap into institutional-grade yield products, marking a significant milestone in the mainstream adoption of RWA-based finance.
