
Bitcoin.com has taken a significant step by opening its first Middle East and North Africa (MENA) office in the city of Dubai. This move reflects the company’s growth strategy and commitment to expanding its presence across different regions.
By establishing its regional headquarters within the DMCC Crypto Centre, Bitcoin.com is strengthening Dubai’s position as a global crypto innovation powerhouse. The company has joined over 3,200 tech companies and more than 650 blockchain and Web3 businesses that are currently operating in the region.
Belal Jassoma, Director of Ecosystem at DMCC, expressed his enthusiasm regarding Bitcoin.com’s decision to set up its office in Dubai. He emphasized that the company’s choice highlights the global pull of the Crypto Centre and the immense opportunities present in the region.
Bitcoin.com CEO Corbin Fraser praised the UAE’s stance on crypto innovation, stating that the country has created one of the most welcoming environments for Web3 companies. He also commended DMCC’s world-class infrastructure and robust ecosystem.
It is worth noting that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has taken the lead globally in cryptocurrency adoption. According to recent data, 25.3% of the population now holds cryptocurrency, with an astonishing growth rate of 210% in 2025 alone.
