HUD Offices Became As Vacant As A ‘Spirit Halloween’ Store Under Biden: Admin Sources
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has reportedly seen significant staff departures, leaving its offices looking like a “vacant Spirit Halloween” store under the administration of President Joe Biden.
According to administration sources speaking with Fox News Digital, HUD’s workforce is expected to be largely back in office by February 24, 2025. The announcement comes after the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, was established and a task force of HUD employees was launched to identify waste, fraud, and abuse at the agency.
HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge announced on Thursday that she would prioritize transparency and accountability in the department’s spending, stating that “we are no longer in a business-as-usual posture.”
