The answer is… MOLDY.
How To Solve Today’s Wordle
To start, I opened with SPAIN, which didn’t yield any yellow or green boxes. Then, I went for GLOBE on guess #2. This reduced the remaining solutions to 23.
HOLLY cut that number down further to just 2 options: MOLDY and FOLKY.
My analysis? It’s funny that we didn’t tie with a different word having an almost identical pattern. Five grey boxes, then a yellow ‘LO’ in boxes 2 and 3, followed by the OL and Y in green. The Bot also suggested a yellow ‘D’, but I couldn’t come up with anything else.
