Bybit has recently launched its own MiCA-compliant platform specifically designed for European users. This strategic move highlights the intense competition among major crypto exchanges in Europe following the introduction of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
As the regulatory framework takes hold, Bybit’s new platform, Bybit.eu, offers a range of services across 29 European Economic Area countries. The platform is fully compliant with MiCA regulations and aims to provide users with regulated crypto services including custody, exchange services, and trading tools.
It appears that several major exchanges are attempting to secure licenses in Europe in order to capitalize on the growing demand for these services. Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, and Crypto.com have already obtained licenses under the new regulation.
