Astar Network Launches ACS Campaign to Boost ASTR Token Usage
In a groundbreaking move, the Astar Network has announced the launch of its Astar Contribution Score (ACS) campaign, aimed at significantly boosting the usage and adoption of its native token, ASTR. The initiative is designed to not only reward active participants but also foster a sustainable economic model for ASTR within the Soneium ecosystem.
The ACS campaign kicked off on February 20, 2025, and will run for a period of 100 days, concluding on May 30, 2025. With a substantial reward pool of 100 million ASTR tokens at stake, users are incentivized to participate in over 30 applications within the Soneium ecosystem.
The ACS campaign is structured to ensure continuous engagement through daily score distribution, where participants can earn scores for their active participation and conversions of these scores into ASTR tokens. This strategic move marks a significant step towards increasing ASTR’s adoption and utility.
At its core, the ACS campaign rewards users for their engagement in various decentralized applications (dApps) and platforms. The allocation of the total 1 billion ACS supply is divided primarily into TVL-based allocations, discretionary allocations for specific growth areas, and a small reserve for unforeseen needs.
Key projects involved in the rewards distribution include Velodrome, QuickSwap, and Stargate Finance, among others. This strategic initiative is part of a broader plan to increase ASTR’s adoption and utility within the Superchain ecosystem.
