Rihanna’s Sons RZA & Riot Rose Aren’t Having It in Adorable Road Trip Photos: ‘They So Over Me’
Rihanna, the Fenty founder and billionaire business mogul, has proved that even world-renowned stars can be just like any other mom when it comes to taking road trips with their kids. In a hilarious Instagram post on July 3, Rihanna shared a few precious photos of her boys, RZA and Riot Rose, who seem to be having the time of their lives in the backseat of a car.
The first photo showcases 23-month-old Riot sucking on a pacifier and gazing apathetically at his mom before attempting to hide behind the shade canopy of his car seat. The second snap displays 3-year-old RZA, who also has no interest in being captured by Rihanna’s lens. Instead, he chooses to cover his face with a French children’s magazine.
The caption under these heartwarming photos read: “they so over me on this lil road trip.”
In the meantime, Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky are preparing for the arrival of their third child, after revealing her pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala in May. Fans can’t help but wonder if Baby No. 3 will be a boy or the couple’s first daughter – both Ri and Rocky remained tight-lipped about the news during the recent Smurfs premiere.
It appears that Rihanna is taking cues from an early tradition she shared with A$AP Rocky, as they’ve been involved in road trips that have become important to their relationship. The star revealed in her 2022 Vogue cover story that she and Rocky sealed their bond early on by driving cross-country from New York to Los Angeles together. She mentioned that during this trip, “He became my family in that time.”
