Samsung Issues Critical Update For All Galaxy Smartphones
In a sudden turn of events, Samsung has released a critical security update for all its Galaxy smartphone devices. The move comes amid growing concerns about the vulnerability of these devices to cyber threats.
According to Forbes contributor Zak Doffman, Samsung has patched one critical and 21 high-severity vulnerabilities that are attributed to Android’s July security package. Additionally, the company has also patched 17 vulnerabilities affecting its own chipsets.
These patches aim to address a range of issues related to privacy and security enhancements for eligible phones running Android 16. The update is not limited to any specific device model or region, but rather is available to all Galaxy owners.
As a result, Samsung urges all Galaxy owners to upgrade their devices as soon as the latest release becomes available to them.
