CleanSpark Doubles Bitcoin Mining Power After Georgia Expansion
Bitcoin mining company, CleanSpark, has doubled its operational hashrate to surpass the 20 EH/s milestone after expanding its operations in Georgia. The significant increase is attributed to the successful integration of five new facilities across Georgia, which have added a substantial 60 MW of capacity to the company’s operations.
According to recent updates, the additional infrastructure has already contributed 1.7 EH/s to CleanSpark’s operational hashrate, with an estimated 2 EH/s expected to be added in July. The company’s CEO, Zach Bradford, emphasized the importance of this strategic move, highlighting the focus on expanding its mining capacity and improving operational efficiency.
This impressive growth brings CleanSpark closer to its long-term goal of reaching a whopping 50 EH/s, solidifying its position within the competitive BTC mining space.
