The Academy of Country Music has announced the recipients of their special awards, and it’s a star-studded lineup. According to the latest reports, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, and Rissi Palmer are among those being honored with the prestigious accolades.
Jelly Roll is set to receive the ACM Lifting Lives Award, which recognizes country music artists, duos/groups, or industry members who have dedicated themselves to improving lives through their work and are committed to serving others. The honor is voted on by the ACM Lifting Lives Board of Directors. It appears that Jelly Roll’s philanthropic efforts have not gone unnoticed, as he has partnered with Live Nation to donate $1 from each ticket sold on his Backroad Baptism Tour, raising over $600,000 for at-risk youth.
Additionally, Combs will be honored with the ACM International Award, which celebrates outstanding contributions to the growth of country music globally. His headlining tours have reportedly sold out in major markets such as the U.K., Ireland, and Australia, showcasing his global appeal and dedication to building a worldwide fanbase.
Lainey Wilson will receive the ACM artist-songwriter of the year accolade. Meanwhile, songwriter Jessie Jo Dillon will be honored with the songwriter of the year award. The event will also acknowledge winners for the studio recording award and industry award.
The list of honorees also includes Randy Travis, who has made significant strides in his career and beyond.
