UFC 315: Former UFC Champion Added To Key Main Card Fight
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has made a significant addition to its upcoming pay-per-view event, UFC 315. The promotion announced that former UFC strawweight champion and current No. 7 flyweight contender, Jessica Andrade, will face off against the rising star Jasmine Jasudavicius in a highly anticipated women’s flyweight matchup.
Jasmine Jasudavicius is on a tear, having won four consecutive fights and looking to continue her climb up the rankings with a victory over Andrade. The Ontario native has been impressing fans and critics alike with her recent performances.
Andrade, on the other hand, is seeking to bounce back from a loss to Natália Silva in September 2024, which ended her two-fight win streak. A victory over Jasudavicius would be a significant step towards making another run at the 125-pound title, as she will likely face off against the winner or loser of other fights on the card.
The UFC 315 card is already stacked with several high-profile matchups. In the co-main event, women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko will put her title on the line against Manon Fiorot. Also scheduled for the main card is a clash between former flyweight champion Alexa Grasso and Silva.
Given the recent form of both fighters, it would be no surprise to see Jasudavicius and Andrade face off against the winners or losers from these fights in the future. The UFC 315 pay-per-view event is set to take place on May 10 at the Centre Bell Arena in Montreal.
