Cronos Partners with Crypto.com to Enable Direct Crypto-to-Debit Card Transfers
In a groundbreaking move, blockchain firm Cronos has announced its partnership with cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com to facilitate seamless direct crypto-to-debit card transfers. This innovative collaboration aims to simplify the process of converting cryptocurrency into fiat currency and making it instantly spendable through various means.
As part of this new feature, users can link their Web3 non-custodial wallets on Cronos EVM or Cronos zkEVM to a Crypto.com prepaid card, allowing for instant transfers. The process involves topping up from the respective blockchains to Crypto.com’s crypto wallet and then transferring funds directly to the prepaid card in a single transaction.
Notably, the integration also enables automatic conversion of unsupported tokens into USD Coin (USDC) or Ethereum (ETH), ensuring that users can utilize their digital assets for everyday transactions.
