What to Watch This Weekend: New Shows and Movies to Stream On Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple TV and More
As the month comes to a close, it’s time to look forward to what new content is available on your favorite streaming services. February may be wrapping up, but March is bringing a fresh batch of shows and movies to get you started.
If you’re looking for something nostalgic, Hulu has got you covered with some classic titles landing this weekend. Pulp Fiction joins the lineup, along with Alien and True Grit. Meanwhile on Netflix, 50 First Dates is available for your cozy night in, while Blade Runner: The Final Cut provides a thought-provoking sci-fi experience. Apple TV subscribers can indulge in the original Ghostbusters and Men In Black.
On the other hand, if you’re craving something more modern, Paramount+ has Yellowjackets Season 3 to keep an eye on. While I initially had reservations about this season’s start, it seems that things have taken a significant turn for the better with episode three. This gripping series follows two storylines: one set in the wilderness during the ’90s and another exploring the aftermath of a plane crash in the present day.
For those who enjoy a mix of mystery and intrigue, HBO/Max’s The White Lotus is an excellent choice. With only a few episodes into Season 3, I’m already hooked on this anthology series that takes place at various hotel locations worldwide. Each new installment sees tourists getting entangled in murder mysteries, mayhem, and more.
Additionally, Prime Video has some exciting content to offer with Reacher Season 3. While it may not quite live up to the first season’s standards, I’m finding it increasingly enjoyable this time around. For those who enjoy a one-man army taking on criminal organizations, you’re in luck.
Lastly, if you’re craving something more experimental and thought-provoking, Severance Season 2 is well worth your attention. This Apple TV exclusive has garnered quite the following for its unique concept of “severance procedure” that separates work and home consciousnesses. Filled with surprise twists and an incredible cast, it’s a show you won’t want to miss.
As always, I’m eager to hear about what you’re currently watching or have in your backlog! Let me know on Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky, or Facebook.
A few more shows that didn’t make the cut this time around include Invincible, 1923, and The Pitt. Nevertheless, these can be great options depending on your taste.
