A groundbreaking statement has been made by the Shiba Inu team regarding decentralization, and it’s all about action rather than permission. According to Lucie, a pseudonymous marketing lead of the Shiba Inu team, the community is the one that runs the decentralized system, not a single individual or group.
In her recent Twitter post, Lucie emphasized the significance of decentralized systems, stating that they don’t require any approvals. Instead, such systems offer users an opportunity to “build, vote, and contribute — directly and transparently” without any intermediaries. This approach provides open infrastructure and the ability for individuals to take action.
Moreover, Lucie stressed that there is no actual leadership in decentralized systems, as anyone can become a leader by consistently showing their actions, presence, and consistency, which would then make them a leader that others would follow.
Regarding Shiba Inu’s specific system, Lucie revealed that they have between two to three million holders, while also acknowledging the existence of trolls who keep criticizing the team. However, she emphasized that this group does not represent the entire community.
It is clear that the SHIB team prioritizes decentralized decision-making and emphasizes that decentralization is built for action rather than permission.
